Near Cheesefoot Head, Just Outside Winchester, Hants, 10/05/09

Researcher Bob Schindler, visited a location near to Cheesefoot Head, (Chilcomb), on Sunday 10/05/09 to conduct some skywatching, and captured this object flying low over the fields there.
Bob said "I was just photographing the landscape overlooking the 'Intech' complex, when I noticed something moving out of the corner of my eye . At first I thought it might have been a bird perhaps, but didn't really see this object properly whilst taking pictures. Then I looked at the images on my camera, and there it was there on the first shot, this black object, then on the next shot it had gone".
Bob asked BEAMS to examine the 2 images.
Well, here they are, completely unaltered, with one exception; because Bob switched to a panoramic setting on the second shot, the picture was too wide and I have had to trim the ends off to fit it on this page. After magnification and other tests, I am left with no idea as to what the object might be. It is something real, that's for sure...but not a bird or a bug, or any man-made plane. Any ideas readers?

Somebody suggested that this was just a helium balloon, but note the shadows,
especially that indicated by arrow...To my mind, these are NOTconsistent with those of a balloon.
