Although he may not want to admit to it, (or indeed fully realize it yet), Derek Bridges, who is a personal friend of mine, undoubtedly posses some psychic abilities.
I know, because this man has experienced numerous incidents of paranormal happenings around him...far too many to be sheer coincidence.
It all began around two years ago when I learned that Derek was using a type of Scrying, a magic ritual that involves seeing things psychically in a medium, usually for purposes of obtaining spiritual visions.
Derek, who is a former backing vocalist for 60's pop star Marty Wilde
and still a performing musician to this day, began seeing 'faces' and patterns in all manner of surfaces, when no-one else seemed to notice them...at least, not very *much anyway.
*with the exception of a Christ-like image that appeared on a settee back cushion in his home one day, which I could actually see as well and so could my partner, (but I found it impossible to photograph as it was formed in the nap of the velvet fabric, as opposed to a stain or something more easily perceived), which prompted Derek to call in some church officials to take a look....but they simply humored him as might be expected.
He became fixated by all of these appearances and studied them in depth but remained extremely modest about it all, ufo sightings, orb manifestations et all, most of which until now, have escaped capture on film...usually happening when he didn't have a camera to hand... most annoyingly.
However, Derek was determined to photographically preserve some of what is going on; and he succeeded at last with an extraordinary occurrence that he managed to capture for posterity after setting up a wall-mounted infra-red security camera in his bedroom.
After many failed attempts, on Tuesday, September 9th, 2008, he caught something very rare on film using an IR camera, a television monitor with a built-in VCR, (with tape recording on 6 hour, long play mode for continuous surveillance) ...and the recital of quite a few prayers; although Derek is far from a religious man rather, he is using these for protection more than anything else.
Sitting in front of the monitor and asking for something paranormal to appear, (like a one-man seance), suddenly, what he could only describe as a white column of ectoplasmic-like energy, (ceiling to floor in height, solid-looking, yet wispy in places), floated by the screen, hesitating at the beginning and end of it's journey, as if posing for the camera. Unfortunately though, Derek had forgot to switch his VCR on...doh!
So, asking out loud whether they could "please" repeat the phenomena display, (and with the recorder on), amazingly the spirits oblidge and the incident happens one more time...and is securely recorded! Here it is then...remember Derek is sitting in a totally dark room, and can only see the IR phenomena on his screen.

I was most impressed by his short-but-sweet film...and I had to convince him that the world should see this evidence...evidence that I believe is of extreme scientific importance....and if it is not considered so - why not?
He agreed...so here it is, a very rare phenomenon, (these things don't usually appear on demand, more likely, when we are least expecting them), probably the only footage of it's type on the web, and believe me, I have searched for this type of thing from seances, mediums etc and I have only ever found still photos at best. 
Although perfectly clear, please remember that this has been transferred from long-play VHS tape, and the greenish hue is because it was filmed using IR.
Derek's case is currently being closely studied by several authorities.
