Report from SPI investigator Bob Schindler
"Yesterday I was up at Racton. Although it was raining I decided to conduct a skywatch by sitting in my car and scanning the sky.
After a while of watching I witnessed a big red ball of light, which suddenly came across a nearby field and went right into the ruins of Racton monument. A workman coming along the road in his van also saw this, and stopped his vehicle to have a look.
The unidentified was a respectable size, (not a bug or a bird or anything like that), dark underside, and glinted in the sun as it moved.
There were no wings on this unidentified, and no audible sound.
I managed to take 5 photos of it, (or so I thought, because in the end, only 1 came out), but infortunately it does not look entirely like the object that I saw...
It's as if only a part of it has come out.
Bob".
