23.02.2010 Near Sunbury Cross, Surrey.
I saw two bright lights as I was driving: I stopped in the residental street and watched them close up and manouvre together, just above the roof line.
Lost sight of them and then drove to the approx location, about 500 yds and a left turn. I parked-up by a perimeter fence and waited.

First object you see is simply a plane making a final approach; however, the second, mystery object, lights up extremely bright.
 
I got zoomed-in quite close and it pulsed and rotated very bright for about 9 secs in real time. When slowed down it is really something!! An amazing technicolour light show.

I haven't a clue what this object is, but it disappeared after this footage.
 
I Would estimate its location to be above or very close to a nearby electricity substation.

Is it drawing energy perhaps?
