Message: An orange sphere slowly came into view, travelling in the sky from a southerly direction.
Initially it moved from left to right in it's motions, then this object seemed to slightly change shape, getting larger and smaller.
My whole family were watching the event because it was a warm evening and we all sat in the garden.
We all studied this for a few mins as the object just hovered in the night sky, moving from time to time, left to right.
Suddenly a low flying plane, (which looked like it was coming into land at Leeds/Bradford airport), flew to the left of it, with the plane just a little higher in the sky than the object.
At this point the sphere then seemed to reverse back and the light went out.
We all sat there debating what we had just witnessed when, within 2/3 mins, the sphere came back, and it once again hovered over the same area, moving from time to time in different directions.
After a while it just disappeared.
The weather was warm still and cloudy night, and there was no noise at all.
Very strange indeed...it must have been self-powered judging by the way it moved, but it was certainly not a plane or helicopter.
Did anyone else see this, just interested?
