Firstly, she phoned the Surrey B.E.A.M.S. office on the evening Sunday 8th July, 2007, to report that she had seen a flying horse going across the sky in the direction of the Mill.
Later on this day, Julie was walking down King William Road and saw a neighbour whom she knew and they got talking. Julie told this young lady that she probably wouldn’t believe it but earlier she had seen a horse flying through the sky, going in the direction of the Kempston Mill.
"To Julie’s surprise, her neighbour said she had seen the same thing from her garden and ran in to tell her mum who rushed out to see this flying horse."
Coincidentally, it was only days before this, that Ken had sent Julie a DVD, containing genuine footage of what seemed to be flying horse in Mexico: armed with this footage Julie invited the two ladies round to view the film, and they all agreed that was exactly what they had seen that day.
Two different locations and both witnesses seeing the same thing is so important.
The Kempston Mill stands close to a powerful ley line which runs through the village and it is an interesting old place, boasting more than its fair share of strange phenomena...to such an extent that there are many folk who actually stay most of the night at the Mill to sky watch.
